Imagine doing this simple activity for the long term and the result is you being overweight. This is just an example of a scenario.
Therefore, self care consists of taking care of your mental, physical, emotional, social, spiritual, personal, space, work, and financial. There are many types of self care that you need to know to make your life balanced. On top of that, self care also means caring for others. You shall be selfless by sharing love with others because self care isn’t selfish.

You may have seen people who suffer from anxiety, depression, suicidal tendencies, or people on the verge to collapse down from being too stressful. Did you know that almost 800 000 die to suicide every year, which means one person every 40 seconds? Self care is very important to avoid these issues. It is an utmost priority in the way you care for yourself. However, it is also important to understand that you must seek healthy self care to reward yourself. Drugs, over-eating, alcohol, smoking and other types of hedonism may give you relief but it is only temporary and destructive in the long term. Of course, that does not mean you have to spend all your cash on buying unwanted beauty products every day but it is alright to treat yourself once in a while. Therefore, you could try to set up a basic skincare routine by moisturizing, exfoliating, use toner, cleanser, and mask for your face. Of course, practice makes it perfect. You could also keep your body moisturized by applying lotion before going to sleep, waking up to a baby soft skin the next morning. Perhaps, you would love the same for your best friend or partner?
